CNA program registration reserves your seat in the associated class. Upon successful registration, your seat will be held for 48 hours. During this time a representative from the program will contact you to discuss availability for an in person meeting. During this meeting, students will tour the facility and review documentation, requirements and payment. If the students fails to attend in person meeting, the registration fee become non- refundable and the seat in the class becomes available again.

Course Discription:

This course is designed for both nursing and paramedic students who are entry level providers of intravenous therapies. Additionally it is also beneficial to those providers transitioning into practice needing IV insertion review.
Upon completion of this course Students will know:

  • What the indications and uses for Intravenous therapy are
  • What are contraindications of IV therapy as well as possible side effects
  • What equipment are needed for IV therapy as well as proper assembly
  • Psychomotor skills and practice in order to be successful in your IV insertion attempts

Course Run Time: 3 hours depending on number of participants and desire to practice

 

*Upon course completion, those in attendance will receive a certificate of course completion.  A course completion certificate does not authorize nor certify one to be able to perform IV insertion or therapy.  Individuals must operate within the scope of practice under there current license.  This calss is not provided in association with the California BRN or California EMSA. 

Our self-paced, 40-hour Online Home Health Aide (HHA) Program is designed for certified nursing assistants (CNAs) in California seeking HHA certification. New classes begin every Monday, and students may progress at their own pace through our online learning platform, Canvas.

Upon enrollment, students will receive a welcome email from the Program Director within 24 hours with instructions on how to access Canvas and begin the course. The program includes all course content, assignments, and testing.

Upon successful completion, the student’s information will be submitted to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for official HHA certification.

Coure completion is also recognized by CDPH for 26 hours worth of CEU Credits. 

Course Requirements:

  • Current California CNA certification

  • Completed Live Scan background check

  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
